  • 9. What Others Have Said…
    • "Upon in depth research of the available options I have decided on IAPAM. Their two-day symposium in Scottsdale is very well executed. It is a comprehensive introduction that defines the building blocks of such practice for those who are truly interested to offer aesthetic medicine to their patients. The didactic component draws from the experience of well respected professionals in the field while it exposes the audience to a variety of styles from the initial practitioners like dermatologists to the more recent adopters like family physicians. The course provides introductory hands-on experience in several aspects of aesthetic medicine like Botox and filler injections. I found this course captivating and worthwhile of my time and financial investment." ~ Dr. A.L. MD Washington (June 2009)
  • 10. What Others Have Said…
    • “ I spent $35,000 on a consultant and received less information than what I received over the weekend” ~ Dr. G.C. Florida .
    • "The symposium was everything I had hoped for and more. Very practical and timely. “ ~ Dr. A.B. Canada .
    • “ the support you get from IAPAM afterwards definitely makes the course different than the others” ~ Dr. A. S. Illinois
    • "I’ve been on 3 other aesthetic training courses, this is by far the best!” ~ Dr. S.P. Arkansas
    • “ I was adequately trained at my conference in Scottsdale to dive head first into the field and I am enjoying it " ~ Dr. B. P. Pennsylvania
    • “ I highly recommend the experience because it would serve as a balanced building block to a successful practice.” ~ Dr. OC O. NC
  • 11. Frequently Asked Questions
    • Why should we choose to attend the IAPAM Aesthetic Medicine Symposium?
    • The Symposium was created by the physician members of the IAPAM and designed specifically to help prospective aesthetic physicians enter the aesthetic field with all the necessary information. It is one of the very few training programs which is not operated or sponsored by equipment distributors or consultants (there are no exhibitors, only education!). The Symposium also includes the necessary business skills .
    • In addition, the IAPAM is the only provider of aesthetic medicine training that has 2 board certified cosmetic dermatologists on its teaching faculty, ensuring the best possible education for the attendees.
    • The IAPAM offers the most comprehensive on-going support. We not only include a year of telephone/e-mail/web support for any questions, but all physician attendees will receive a complete 16 DVD training program that you can use as a refresher and to train your employees. Members also gain access to the IAPAM Member Only social networking groups, including LinkedIn .
  • 12. Frequently Asked Questions con’t
    • I only need Botox® Training?
    • Botox is the most competitive aesthetic procedure, and if you base your aesthetic practice on only offering Botox injections you are going to have a very hard time being profitable. By attending the Symposium, you’ll learn from an expert faculty on the right way to setup an aesthetic practice and how to choose the most profitable aesthetic procedures. For example, a Botox® patient a year will earn you $200-300/yr in profit, one chemical peel or microdermabrasion patient a year will earn you $1,000-$1,200/yr in profit, which will you choose?
    • Botox is certainly part of a successful practice, and we dedicate 3/4 of day on the topic. However, you will also learn about much more profitable aesthetic procedures that have very little start-up costs.
  • 13. Frequently Asked Questions con’t
    • Can Nurses or Practice Managers attend?
    • Yes, licensed medical staff and practice/business managers can certainly attend with their supervising physicians. The cost is only $1,095 since they will not receive the DVD series. If your supervising physician doesn’t attend, then you may attend at the regular physician price (based on availability).
  • 14. Frequently Asked Questions con’t
    • Do you offer Advanced Botox® / Dermal Filler Training?
    • Yes, we have the most intensive hands-on training in the world. You typically inject between 10-14 patients during our Weekend Botox/Filler Bootcamp. This program is only open to practitioners with previous Botox/Filler experience or upon completion of the Aesthetic Medicine Symposium. We also have an Advanced Dermal Filler Bootcamp as well.
