About CopaVerde is a movement for sustainability and green building originating in Brazil and growing world wide. The CopaVerde Plan ("The Plan") focuses on the 2014 FIFA World Cup and 2016 Rio Olympic Games and the green building certification of all of the stadiums, hotels, airports, hospitals and supporting infrastructure, which together, could prove to be the largest, coordinate, green building effort to date! But, The Plan, also offers other measures to help the host cities become Green Cities which after these global sporting events could serve as a foundation for a new Green Brazilian Economy.
