Germen Bakery Bomb Blast -Koregaon Park Pune: On the 13thFebruary 2010, Once again India is targeted byterrorist, there was a bomb blast at Germanbakery Karegaon Park pune, that killed 8 peoplesand around 50 peoples were injured. This is thefirst time green citypune is get targeted by theterrorist, but according to intelligence of Indiapune was in radar of terrorist. Bomb blastincident has been occurred at German Bakerynear to Osho Ashram and Jewish prayer center.Osho ashram is very known place in pune, wherelot of foreigners visit frequently. The blastoccurred when a waiter try to open anunidentified bag in the bakery. The main reasonbehind the blast is to harm foreigners. IED(Improvised explosive device) was used in thebomb blast.
  4. 4. Mumbai Terrorist Attack: Begin on 26November 2008 and lasted until 29November, killing at least 173 people includingat least 22 foreigners and wounding at least308. It was the Biggest terrorist attack in theworld ever. Mumbai the dream city, The citywho never sleep was attack by some Pakistaniterrorist form multiple sites. Attacks occurred inMumbai: at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, TheOberoi Trident, The Taj Mahal Palace, LeopoldCafe, Cama Hospital, Jewish-owned NarimanHouse. Around 200 hostages are rescued.Ajmal Kasab the only attacker who wascaptured alive, disclosed that the attackerswere members of Lashkar-e-Taiba, thePakistan-based militant organization.
  5. 5. Bangalore Serial Blasts: July 25, 2008 Bangalore serial blasts occurredin Bangalore, India. A series of nine bombs exploded in which two peoplewere killed and 20 injured. According to the Bangalore city police, theblasts were caused by low-intensity crude bombs triggered by timers.Bangalore is the information technology hub of India with more than 40%of the country’s IT and software industry based there.

Jaipur Bombings: 13 May 2008 A series of bomb blasts has claimed atleast 80 lives in a popular tourist district of the city of Jaipur in north India.Jaipur the capital city of the royal Indian state of Rajasthan, and a populartourist destination also know as pink city turned into red on day of blast.This was the first time terrorists had targeted Jaipur, India’s tenth largestcity and one of its most popular tourist destinations.

Mumbai Train Bombings: 11 July 2006 Again Mumbai, Now thisterrorist target the life line of Mumbai, local trains.There were a series ofseven bomb blasts that took place over a period of 11 minutes on thesuburban railway in Mumbai, 209 people lost their lives and over 700were injured. The bomb were set off in pressure cookers, in lunch boxesand placed in trains.

Malegaon Blasts: 8 September 2006 were aseries of bomb blasts that took place on 8September 2006 in Malegaon, a town inthe Nashik district of the Indian state ofMaharashtra.The explosions, which caused thedeaths of at least 37 people and injured over125 more, took place in a Muslim cemetery,adjacent to a mosque, at around 13:15 localtime after Friday prayers on the Shab e Bara’atholy day. Most of the blast victims were Muslimpilgrims.Security forces spoke of two bombsattached to bicycles, but other reports indicatedthat three devices had exploded
  9. 9. Varanasi Bombings: 7 March 2006 A series of blasts occurred across theHindu holy city of Varanasi on 7 March 2006. Fifteen people are reported tohave been killed and as many as 101 others were injured. No-one hasaccepted responsibility for the attacks, but it is speculated that thebombings were carried out in retaliation of the arrest of a Lashkar-e-Toibaagent in Varanasi earlier in February 2006.

Ram Janmabhoomi Attack -Ayodhya: On July 5, 2005 The longsimmering Ayodhya crisis finallyculminated in a terrorist attack on the siteof the 16th century Babri Masjid -Demolished Ancient Masjid in Ayodhya on5 July 2005. Following the two-hourgunfight between Lashkar-e-Toibaterrorists based in Pakistan and Indianpolice, in which six terrorists were killed,opposition parties called for a nationwidestrike with the country’s leaderscondemning the attack, believed to havebeen masterminded by dawood ibrahim.
  11. 11. Delhi Serial Bombings: The 29 October 2005 Delhi bombingsoccurred in India, killing 62 people and injuring at least 210 in threeexplosions at three different places. The bombings came only two daysbefore the important festival of Diwali.The first blast took place in themain bazaar of Paharganj, second blast took place near a bus inGovindpuri area and within minutes of the second third explosion tookplace in south Delhi’s busy Sarojini Nagar market.

Indian Parliament Attack: On 13 December2001 terrorist target the parliament of India, Fiveterrorist entered parliament premises in a carthrough the VIP gate and killed 9 policemen andparliament staffers. After the gunfire of 45minutes all five terrorist were killed by staffforces and identified as Pakistaninationals. Mohammad Afzal who is convicted ofbeing part of conspiracy is now sentenced todeath by Indian court. He was to be hanged on20 October but the sentence has been stayed.
