      • Everyone can get MARC data from application program interface (API). Not need to use web OPAC interface.
      • Output format is XML(MARCXML, MODS)
Everyone can use MARC data from OPAC and using myself, anywhere, anytime, anyway Library is evolution to “Data provider”
    8. “ Anywhere”
      • Correspond to the standardized retrieval protocol, like the OpenSearch (a9.com).
Our OPAC Integrated search from OPAC and Melvyl (Keyword : BSE)
    9. “ Anytime” - search from own web browser
      • Make search plugin of Firefox2 and InternetExplorer7 based Opensearch.

      • Pickup XML elements, DublinCore, PRISM, and parsing RSS by javascript and Perl, display by HTML.
      • Make OpenURL from many elements of RSS feed.
      Add hyperlink to link resolver
    13. Connect to link resolver from our new RSS Reader Make link button from RSS reader by XML elements of DublinCore, PRISM, etc. RSS Reader Link resolver
    14. Discussion
      • RSS is offensive user service.
        • “Push” information directly to user’s desktop.
      • Possibility of RSS feed and XML combination.
        • Not only “Update ping”.
        • We can use RSS like a container for handling any XML elements.
        • Now, MARC is only librarian’s tool, but OPAC2.0’s era can change MARC to one of the public material.
