Smart-phones together with networks of sensors and actuators are already a pervasive element of our daily lives. Now is the dawn of the ‘Internet of Things’. But how can we handle the complexity of connecting the next 10 billion Internet devices? How can we build elegant, manageable and secure applications to tackle important problems? In this presentation, I will make the case for the ‘Internet of Everything’, wherein embedded devices, software services and human participants work collaboratively to solve critical industrial and societal problems.
