    Talk about the competition here . . . All primary vendors are associated with a mobile device or mobile OS. Sybase is the only vendor that is truly agnostic. RIM is the dominant email player with the most seats and enterprise customers. RIM is very dominant in the Lotus Notes space. Microsoft is dominant and seen as the de facto standard for companies deploying Microsoft Exchange with Windows Mobile devices (all MS environment). Other players that we see occasionally in the marketplace are Nokia and Motorola. But again—they are owned by a mobile device manufacturer and have a difficult time saying that they are “independent” and will support new devices (like the iPhone, Google’s Android operating system, etc.).
