      • In 2007 54% of all visitors to Toronto stayed at
      • least one night in the region. These overnight
      • Visitors accounted for 90% of all visitor spending
      • In the region.
      • In 2007 10.64 million visitors spent at least one night in the Toronto
      • region, spending $4.12 billion. Both were records for
      • Toronto. This is a 1% increase in visitors over 2006 and a 3% increase in
      • spending.

      • Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership has developed a marketing
      • strategy to encourage Ontarians to explore and rediscover all that

      • Celebrity endorsements including Toronto’s Keshia, Tomi, Alex, Brian and Toya features in Ontario commercials aired in major television stations including City TV, CBC, Global, CTV.
      • Objective is to encourage other fellow Canadian, and U.S. citizens to visit and increase tourism in Ontario.

In addition, more than 43 vehicle manufacturers will feature over 1000 new cars, trucks, minivans and SUVs.
