  • 1. HUỲNH BÁ HỌC TOPIC 2 (FOR FINAL TEST) Your organization/company wants you to live and work in a city in Europe/ ˈ jʊ ərəp/. Which city would you choose and why? Nếu công ty gửi bạn tới sống và làm việc tại một thành phố ở châu Âu. Thành phố nào mà bạn chọn, hãy giải thích tại sao? If my company wanted me to live and work in a city in Europe, I would choose[tʃuːz] Amsterdam/ˈæmstərdæm/. Amsterdam/ˈæmstərdæm/ is the largest city and the capital of the Netherlands/ˈnɛðərləndz/. It’s one of Europe’s best cities to live in the world. Amsterdam/ˈæmstərdæm/ has an oceanic/,ouʃi'ænik/ climate['klaɪmɪt] with cool[kuːl] summers but not cold winters. The climate['klaɪmɪt] is wonderful all year to live and work. Amsterdam/ˈæmstərdæm/ is the financial[faɪ'nænʃl] and business capital of the Netherlands/ˈnɛðərləndz/. So, it will provide[prə'vaɪd] me with better conditions[kən'dɪʃn], many opportunities[‚ɑpər'tjuːnətɪ/‚ɒpə't-] to learn and develop[dɪ'veləp] myself and I can also have many chances to get a good job to earn a lot of money. Public['pʌblɪk] transport mainly['meɪnlɪ] consists of bus and tram[træm] lines. Especially[ɪ'speʃəlɪ], the city is one of the most bicycle-friendly large cities in the world and is a centre['sentə] of bicycle culture['kʌltʃə]. Riding a bicycle can be easy, inexpensive[‚ɪnɪk'spensɪv], convenient/kən'vi:njənt/, and comfortable['kʌmfətəbl]. The Dutch[dʌtʃ] capital Amsterdam/ˈæmstərdæm/ is famous['feɪməs] for its unique[juː'nɪːk] canals[kə'næl]. Moreover[mɔː'rəʊvə(r)], there are a lot of beautiful views of the landscape and many places around[ə'raʊnd] the city to visit['vɪzɪt]. Such as: The Westerpark, Golden Age grandeur['grændʒə(r)] at the Canal[kə'næl] House, The Van Gogh Museum[mjuː'zɪəm]... The city also has high standard of education and life style[staɪl]. The health care system['sɪstəm] is very good. The people here are so friendly and they always ready to help you as much as they can. https://sites.google.com/site/huynhbahoc/ http://vi-vn.facebook.com/hoc.huynhba
