Information must be transformed into knowledge . This transformation happens via learning . Learning demands great education , inspiring teachers and excellent teaching methods .

Finland and education <ul><li>Finland has always invested in the future: post-World War II Finland needed to built a strong foundation for the society in order to create a successful country with a successful economy. </li></ul><ul><li>It was realized that this foundation lies in a strong education system . Good education results in a strong society that provides well-being for all citizens, producing excellent economic results. </li></ul><ul><li>Finland’s history in top quality teacher training (all teachers are required to have a Master’s degree) and innovativity in technology and ICT are reasons for the country’s educational success – among others. </li></ul>June 24, 2011
