  5. 5. Characters: Calvin (homosexual) in his 20s. He is unemployed. He likes to party and gossip. Clever, fun-loving, strong body form.
  6. 6. Veronica is a successful business woman. In her world it is all about money. That’s why she Is willing to marry Calvin. She is always stressed and Wears a suit. Organised, cold-hearted, hard working.
  7. 7. Plot: As a bartender, Calvin has a fun and relaxed personality, while ruining Veronicas peace when she comes home. Being forced to live together in order of the American governments law of married couples living together. Veronica shows no sympathy for him,she only cares about the money she has been paid from Calvin in order to save him from being deported. We are presented with the after-wedding as opening scene, in order to skip the ceremony and demonstrate the meaning of this wedding. Calvin and Veronica hate each other in the beginning because they have such different personalities. We see how they develop a friendship and copy some of the positive characteristics of the other. For example Calvin takes Veronica out to distract her from her stressful job. She shows him how to manage his life and find a job.
