    • Evaluation Task 1 In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
    • Here we have conformed to the stereotypical Magician and His assistant. This upholds the stereotype that magicians are men with glamorous and attractive assistants. As we see below -
    • Here we put Ellie (the girl on the right) in a white dress to represent innocence and purity. This conforms to the stereotypical young innocent girl in most thrillers / horrors.
    • Above we have again conformed to the stereotypical magician. Top Hat, waistcoat and bow tie. We did this so people would easily recognise that he is a magician
    • When the audience see the girl enter the box they instantly assume that something bad is going to happen. They instantly assume so because it is a thriller / horror. The light is deliberately reflected onto the girl, again to highlight her innocence and purity.
