Phạm Duy was a Vietnamese composer and songwriter. He was one of the most prolific and popular composers of Vietnamese pop music in the 20th century. Duy composed over 1,000 songs in various genres including pop, folk, and choral works that explored themes of love, nature, and nationalism.
