  • 3. MLA STYLE OF WRITING MLA: Modern Language Association Typically used in English courses as well as Liberal Arts andHumanities

MLA STYLE OF WRITING Includes page numbers on each page at the top, with the author’slast name preceding the page number Includes a title at the beginning of the paper Includes a “Works Cited” page at the end of the paper Includes a heading on the first page that includes the author’sname, class, professor’s name, and date of the paper Includes in text citations at the end of quotes or paraphrases
