This document outlines the development of the author's philosophy of technology use in teaching from before taking an education course (EDU210) to beyond completing the course. Initially, the author had not considered how technology could be incorporated but through various course activities began exploring tools and their educational applications. By the end of the course, the author developed a foundation for their philosophy centered around using technologies that enhance student learning. The author plans to continue refining their perspective based on future teaching experiences.

2. PRE- EDU210
 Before EDU210, I had not thought about formulating an actual
written out philosophy of teachnology, or even thought about
this specific philosophy in general. It never really occurred to
me that, as a teacher, I am in control of the technology use
within my classroom.
 Before this class, I had written two philosophies of teaching in
previous courses, but sadly was not able to find either of
them.
 I do know, however, that no mention of technology was made in
either one, or how it would be used within my teaching style.
 Finally, due to the fact I am a Physical Education major
(Combined degree program), technology use did not seem like
it really pertained to me.

6. POST MODULE 5 (CONTINUED)
 My search for technologies that are applicable in Physical Education
was also aided by the activity in Module 11 .
 For me, it was dif ficult at fir st to imagine how technology could be
integrated within the confines of Physical Education, but af ter exploring
several vendor s, and their products, I was able to find some tools that
may be useful.
 Bodywise, for example, is a sof tware that allows students to explore the
human body, from muscles and bones, to how dif ferent systems work .
 This tool is perfect for Physical Education, as it allows students to have an in depth
look at their bodies, and lets them start to understand how their bodies work, which I
believe should be a key element within this discipline.

7. BEYOND EDU210
 Now that EDU210 has almost officially been completed, I feel
that I have been able to develop the foundation for my
philosophy of teachnology.
 As I move through my education degree, into my introductory and
professional terms, I will be able to observe how teachers within
my discipline are using technology, and how this impacts the
students.
 Using these observations, coupled with my experiences with
technology, my philosophy may shift, but I believe my basic
feelings for technology use in the classroom will remain the
same.
 Technology should be embraced in the classroom setting, as it is
prevalent throughout society. The absolute main question to
keep in mind while searching for tools is: Will this enhance my
students ability to learn? In the end, that is all that matters
