Societies go through four cycles. Bright ideas attract investors who build fortunes. Labor force feels alienated and starts upheavals and force is applied to bring societies back to order. The cycle repeats. Will slideshare society experience the same?

  • juaomaya Juão Maya , Retired at home Dear Ali, congratulations on your well deserved position in the rank of the most viewed presentations in 2013.

Please know that I took the liberty of dedicating my last presentation, 'An Evening at Piazza di Trevi', to you and I wonder if you had a chance to see it. I was finished its final edition when you published 'Law of Comments Cycle'

  • hudali15 Ali Anani, PhD, Managing Partner at Phenomena Communications Rod- first I appreciate your congratulations. But you even scored and deservedly better than I. I learnt a lot from you.
As for DocStoc I started publishing there, but stopped three years ago. So, I fully concur with your comment. As for slideshare even though they are less business-oriented, but to become pro you have to subscribe. More importantly, non-authors may grab an idea on slideshare and turn it to wealth. I meant to say that slideshare offers the playground with its richness for the acquisitors to bring closer the Rule of Wealthy.

With regard to your presentation on the Law of Comments Cycles, I don't see Slideshare (which is now part of LinkedIn) falling into the destructive part of the Law of Comments cycle. However, Docstoc - a competitor of Slideshare - seems to be following the path of the Law of Comments cycle. I have some documents/presentations in Docstoc. At the moment, they are charging readers for access to articles (Acquisitor Rule of Wealth). However, as far as I'm aware, they are not compensating authors of the presentations. I'd not be surprised if top contributors stop uploading presentations to Docstoc (Laborer Social Upheaval). I had not looked at Docstoc as following such a pattern as you present in the Law of Comments cycle. Thanks for sharing.
