I loved the idea of disposable time and hope to eventually have some! Your slides capture an idea I had not considered, that regardless of the intent, if we want someone’s attention, we are in fact competing for their disposable time. Interesting food for thought indeed.
Intent is something which I find to be incredibly important in all phases of life. I’m planning to write a post on the topic and the dueling ideas of self-interest and selflessness in the near future. I think that will be a fun post as I will delve into my personal reconciliation of the desire to share my learnings and ideas (selflessness) with the desire to consume the disposable time of others (self-interest). Thank you again for helping to continue moving the conversation forward!

being a physicist by training. I like this idea. It is interesting to note that grinding increases the surface area of materials likewise grinding time increases the surface area of time. Is time a material this way? 2 years ago Reply
