This included creating an inven- tory of systems to track HR data, processes, dependencies, their uses, and potential for portability for migrating to the newer Oracle HCM Cloud solution. Hexaware provided the solution for more than 11 Business Units across different countries using its “Global Template” approach for catering towards country specific requirements such as • Global foundation Data like Departments, Job Codes, Grades are created and shared across Business Units (country wise) • Country specific performance processes • Automation of Compensation Process for Annual Merit Increase, Incentives and Bonus • Automation of the recruitment processes and ability to On-board faster as a result • Automation of the Learning University of the client Hexaware’s rapid implementation methodology was introduced for the rapid HR Cloud transfor- mation. Our solution approach was further enhanced by Hexaware’s proprietary HCM Cloud migration tool which gave an alternate punch for faster time to value. Our HCM solution experts laid the future foundation for easily integrating Oracle’s Taleo and Fusion HCM system The Situation and Challenge Our customer was in the middle of a significant growth journey. The HR team was at the forefront for enabling and supporting their aggressive business expansion. It presented them an equal set of new opportunities, as well as challenges which they had not experi- enced earlier. Managing and engaging the workforce was a critical task however they were highly concerned with some of the serious challenges which required immediate attention such as • Each and every business entity was operating with different set of HR systems and processes. Processes were also disparate and the adherence towards them was low. • Heavy inflow of manual intensive transactions and interventions. • Workforce planning and headcount reporting was always a challenge – producing accurate data across all the properties for an overall view of the organization was always a challenge with multiple systems and spreadsheets. Real time workforce forecasting and analysis was severely hampered with poor processes in place. • Performance Management was largely on a legacy based approach such as paper and having employees move to an online system had its own Change Management challenges. A simple document for tracking the performance was thus developed. • Slow hiring and recruitment cycle process due to lack of modern practices such as online recruiting, social media recruiting etc. • Duplication of efforts was significantly high across business entities Solution One of the key engagement drivers was to “Unveil modern HR technology solution which is easy, quick and flexible to deploy across their multiple channel of branch networks”. Oracle’s HCM Cloud suite was selected and Hexaware was the chosen one to lead this engagement. Hexaware’s extensive experience with Oracle’s HCM cloud applica- tion solutions and ability to handle multi country roll out initiative enabled them to be a preferred choice.
