  • RodneyClare Rodney Clare Thanks for your gracious acceptance of my views. Having read many books and studied for a doctorate in Leadership in the IT Industry, I came to the conclusion that much of what is written is a neo-speak version of what has been written throughout the ages. Rather than read Emotional Intelligence I would direct my students to Tacitus, Chaucer, Shakespeare et al; for the true nature of leadership has changed little over the years. But I suppose this requires effort to distill the thoughts for oneself and, I know, so many people today expect a short cut to enlightenment. Good luck with your Master Classes and best wishes. • hrmexplorer Webber Benefits and Human Capital Group at Webber Benefits and Human Capital Group Thanks and on what you just said I agree. It is good that we have differing views. Many many books have been written on leadership, my humble model simply takes us through our life stages and as such questions the inner leader in us. Thank you for your thoughts which I take into account.. P.S. This is based on the 12 steps of addiction and the 'big Book' and the experiences of those going through recovery. In them I saw these stages and followership develop. 4 months ago

  • RodneyClare Rodney Clare I fear we must disagree. Leadership is the combination of experience and personality that persuades people willingly to follow the leader. Your theories and master classes may assist the attainment of leadership, but I am unable to comment further. 4 months ago

  • hrmexplorer Webber Benefits and Human Capital Group at Webber Benefits and Human Capital Group Well Rodney..The question is Leadership is synonymous with change - one and the same. It is through internal fortitude that leadership comes and change results. This model is based on reality no books...The model is the framework for master classes. Please read my blog the rubber band theory of leadership and you will see the emotional intelligence that is leadership. Thanks for your comments and for taking the time to read it. 4 months ago

  • RodneyClare Rodney Clare Leadership is an all encompassing skill that covers every aspect of team endeavour and is most difficult when trying to maintain commitment, interest and focus when conducting day to day business. This model is fine for change, but should not be confused with leadership. 4 months ago

  • hrmexplorer Webber Benefits and Human Capital Group at Webber Benefits and Human Capital Group Thank you. I developed the model from the 12 steps of recovery for addicts and by reading the 'big Book'. I also did a small blog on this. I am now developing a master class on the stages. Humbly thanks- Peter 4 months ago
