Biography• Oscar was born on October 16, 1854 in Dublin Ireland to Sir William and Jane Wilde.• He was home schooled until he was nine and sent to Portora Royal School in Northern Ireland.
Family • He had 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Two of his sisters died in a tragic accident. • He married Constance Lloyd and they had 2 children Cyril and Vyvyan Wilde.
Life• Oscar was sent to prison in London for his sexuality.• When he was released he wandered around Europe until his death.
Death • Oscar died November 30, 1900 in Paris, France. • He died of cerebral meningitis. • He is buried at Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris.
