1.
 2. The Creation of Disney

The creation of Disney started with one lucky rabbit named Waldo. Walt loved his new creation. Nothing could bring him down. Soon his happiness came to an end. Unfortunately Universal Studios got a hold of Waldo and kept him. Walt was in a slump for a while, while he was mourning for losing his biggest creation. One day he got a piece of paper and just started to doodle on it. Soon he created a mouse. His first name for the mouse was Mortimer, but his wife said that you couldn’t name a cute little mouse Mortimer, so she suggested Mickey Mouse.

 3. The Ups and Downs of Starting Disney

There were three major downs of starting Disney. The first one was getting Waldo stolen from Disney. That brought Walt’s happiness way down. The second thing was World War II. They lost a lot of technology and money. They also had to stop their production of Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland. Only one movie came out during the war which was Bambi. One great thing that Walt did during the war was make a Donald Duck cartoon making fun of the Nazis. They had it translated into different languages and they smuggled it into Europe. It brought a lot of hope to troubled people.

 4. How Long does it Take to make the Happiest Place on Earth?

As you can imagine it took a very long time. At first they never knew that it would grow so big that it would have its own channel or, a theme park. First he had to think of all of the characters. Then you needed to get a staff. Even throughout the hard

times you need to stick together like a

family. With all of the interruptions it

took a few decades to make Disney

what it is today.

 5. The People Behind the Magic

There are many stages that make a cartoon. They include scanning, checking, and color. I would say that the most important person is the editor. This person is in charge of thousands of films and sounds. To have this job you must also work good with other people because he has to work with music and sound effects editors.

 6. Compare and Contrast: Then and Now

Disney has change so much that it is almost impossible to name all of the reasons. One of the main things is the color and animation of the cartoons. It started out as black and white, but Disney was one of the first cartoons to have color. Another thing is the staff. Walt would only have a few artists working for him, and now Disney has over one million. Whether you work as animators or a manager at one of the theme parks, you are still a member of Disney.

 7. Why was it Built Where it is?

Disney was built where it is because of the beautiful lot of land and the beautiful weather. As you all know the first one was built in California and, the second was built in Florida. These both have amazing weather and land. People could enjoy themselves at the theme park or, even just being outside. Now Disney has grown a lot and you can find one almost everywhere.

 8. Parks

You can find Disney parks everywhere. You can find two in the United States. They have now just opened one hotel in Hawaii. They hope that one day there will be a Disneyland there. There are also Disney's’ in Paris and Tokyo. I think that it is amazing that Disney is so world wide. If you showed someone in Paris a Mickey Mouse stuffed animal, they would know exactly what you were talking about.

 9. How has Disney effect life today?

Disney has effected us so much. If you think about how much stuff in your house that relates to Disney, from clothes to food bowls for your dogs. We would not have our favorite family movies any more. Evan some of the biggest stars today got help from Disney. Whether you like Disney or not, it still has an impact in your life. We should be very grateful that Walt taught us to dream big.
