Glenelg Beach Hostel provides quality backpacker accommodation at
Adelaides premiere beach. Centrally located in the fun Glenelg Beach
area in Adelaide, we are only meters from the beach, many bars,
cafes, restaurants, shops, a cinema and museums.
Being very close to transport, a short tram ride takes you into the
busy centre of Adelaide featuring the famous central markets, great
bands and entertainment, museums and art galleries. We are also an
ideal home base while you explore some of Adelaides wineries,
beaches and the outback!
We are situated in a Heritage building named Alexander Terrace
which was built in 1878. We offer dormitory style accommodation and
a range of private rooms. All bedrooms are spacious with very
comfortable beds with quilts (no bunk beds. ) Free continental eakfast
is provided as well as 24hr tea/coffee. We have a fully equipped
communal kitchen, laundry facilities, 24hr TV/DVD room, Internet and
tour booking facilities. Newly renovated lounge bar with drink
specials, DJs and huge beergarden for relaxing in the sunshine and
