Use the Ecolodge as your base to explore Australia Zoo, the Sunshine
Coast beaches, the areas national parks and the interesting hinterland
villages of Maleny, Montville and Mapleton. There is so much to do
you will need a number of days to enjoy it all. And there really is
something there for everyone! Our well equipped kitchen is in a
restored railway carriage located to the rear of the church. It has
stainless steel sinks, multiple gas burners, two refrigerators,
microwave, sandwich press, blender, toaster, electric jug, rice
steamer, crockery, cutlery, and glasses. There are dining tables in
the carriage and two platforms outside. The adjoining lounge
carriage is an ideal area to unwind, read a book, play board games or
catch up on whats happening in and around the Ecolodge. The guides
for the Ecolodge walks are kept there for use by guests. Monitor
over 60 species of birds which have been spotted at the Ecolodge and
identify them using the Birdwatch Guidebook. Walks of Mt
