    • Grouses have pinkish brownish feet.
    • Grouses have small brown beaks.
    • Grouses are orange, brown, black, white, and yellow.
    • Their eyes are black.
    • There hole head is brown, light brown and a little bit of white.
    • On there wings they have small feathers.
    • Grouses have sharp claws that are gray.
    • On the back of a grouse it has these white things that looks like seeds.
    • Some grouses have little brown things on their head that looks like a mowhawk.
    • On the back of a grouse they have these long feathers that can spread out wide.
    • Under the grouses big long feathers their is some black and white fluffy feathers.
    • Grouses are cold blooded.
    • There wingspan is about twenty five inches long.
    • Grouses are ground-dwelling birds.

    • Grouses eat twigs, leaves, soft fruit, buds, cat kins, ferns, acorns, and some insects.

    • Grouses are also found in Appalachian mountains and parts of the Rocky mountain.
