    • African Union (A.U.)● Purpose – Improve the political, economic, and social situations for the approximately one billion people that live on the African continent. – Protect Africas riches – Giving hundreds of millions of people a healthier and more successful future.● Who is in AU? – All the countries of Africa except 1 (Morocco). Pan-Africanism
    • What do they do?● Educational & Career Opportunities.● Healthy food & safe water.● Adequate housing Find Solutions: – Crime – Disease (HIV, AIDs) – Pollution – Famine & Drought
    • A.S.E.A.N Association of Southeast Asian Nations Purpose: ● Resolve Regional issues ● Promote relations with countries outside the region/organization. Whos in it: Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand,Malaysia, Brunei, Burma, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and the Philippines
    • The World BankPurpose:● Provides financial assistance to emerging countries.● Provides financial/technical support for struggling countries.● Reduce worldwide poverty.Whos in it?● Not really a bank....● 188 different countries.
