    Managing Projects With HomeSpot - Presentation Transcript

    1. Managing Projects
    2. Start by logging on to your HomeSpot account.
    3. Select the Space for which you would like to create a new project.
    4. To create your new project, click either of the ‘Add Project’ links.
    5. Project templates are shown according to the Space you selected. You may select from a template, or just create your own project entry.
    6. Use this link to return to the Space details page.
    7. Enter a project name, description and target date, then click the ‘Save’ button .
    8. Your new project will be shown in Edit mode.
    9. Save any changes you make to the Project Details.
    10. When you complete the project, use this button to convert your project to a Fact. That way you’ll have a history of the project.
    11. You can also just Delete a Project to indicate that it is completed.
    12. Use these tabs to make a Shopping list, add Bookmarks, and upload photos or documents related to this project.
    13. Each item you add will be displayed here.
    14. Your new project will be shown on the ‘My Home’ alerts page when its due date is upcoming.
    15. Use the ‘Weekend Planner’ to organize which Projects or Maintenance Items to work on.
    16. Your Local 5-day Weather forecast will help you determine whether to work inside or outside.
    17. All of your Projects and Maintenance Items that are due in the next 30 days will be shown for you to pick from.
    18. Click and Drag a Project on to the ‘Projects for this Weekend’ box to include it on your Printable Plan.
    19. After selecting all the Projects or Maintenance Items you want, click the ‘View my Printable Plan’ button.
    20. Your Weekend Plan will open in a new browser window.
    21. Your selected Projects will be displayed, including their description and Shopping List.
    22. Your local weather report is shown too.
    23. Print out your Weekend Plan to take to the Home Center, and use it to check off those items you get finished.
