Events Fern’s grown-up pig has a baby. She names the pig Wilbur. Wilbur gets too big and Fern can’t keep Wilbur anymore. She gives him to her uncle. Wilbur meets Charlotte. Charlotte saves Wilbur by writing “Some Pig” on her web. Fern’s uncle enters Wilbur in a fair. Later Charlotte dies inside Wilbur’s crate that he is in. Charlotte’s babies hatch back at the farm.
