      Characterized by continuous cover of plants or grasslands.
      Grasslands: lacking in trees

      Savannas: mingling of forests and grasslands
      Found in Southeast Asia and the African continent

      In Russia, it means marshy pine forest
      Coniferous
      Usually located in areas south of tundras and north of grasslands
      Can be found in Siberia
      Climate is cool, rain and snow occurs less
