  1. 1. Orthodontic Mechanics The objective of the course is to give the practitioner a mechanic system that will improve his/her clinical success. Thus, reducing the stress in the orthodontic office. Has this ever happened to you? 1. The lower jaw drops causing the bite to worsen during treat- ment. 2. Treatments take longer and are more difficult to finish than predicted. 3. Anterior torque and posterior bite problems are difficult to properly correct.
