I grew up on a small farm near Pleasant Hope,Missouri. My mother was a teacher and counselorand my father was a farmer. I was raised to work onthe farm and play in the dirt. Hard work was a traitthat was instilled in my life from a very young age.
I grew up showing pigs, playing softball, helping mygrandparents in the garden, swimming and camping atthe lake, and playing in the dirt.

In High School I was active in FFA, FBLA, NJS, FTA,and softball. I went to college in Kansas on aLivestock Judging Scholarship. After 2 years ata JUCO I realized my heart was in Education andI transferred back and obtained my Bachelor’sDegree from Missouri State University.

God played a huge part in directing me from acareer in Agribusiness to Elementary Education. Ihave been teaching at Fair Grove Elementary for3 years. I spent 3 years in 2nd grade and willbe starting a new venture next year in 4thgrade. Go Eagles!
