  • 1. Horror Magazine Front Cover
  • 2. This is the initial photograph I took for my horror magazine. I thought this positioning wasvery fitting as it shows a lot more than horror poster. Also my horror poster the image was at the right hand side so I chose to have my image on my magazine front cover in the centre.
  • 3. I chose not to have my imageshowing the character face as Iwanted to brake conventions andnot have a stereotypical front cover. Ithink this looks effective as it does notgive too much away about the film orthe character. I chose to increase thecontrast of the rope to match the titleof the film I did this so the house styleand colour are consistent in both myposter and magazine front cover.
  • 4. I have used typical magazinefeatures. For example thebarcode, free merchandise aswell as subheading to attractsdifferent audiences attention.More so I have used black andwhite photography as I wanted toportray a dull life but wanted thered which features to haveconnotations of blood anddanger.
