SM Elearning ProjectThe project, "SM elearning”:• Was a Leonardo da Vinci programme for vocational training led by GIPFAR (France) and co-coordinated by Fons Formació Zona Mediterrània.• Was developed over the years 2005-2007 and includes the participation of training centres and SMEs in Spain, Bulgaria, Greece, Poland, Ireland, and Norway.
Project AimsThe main project aims were:•“To offer reference points and tools to clarify new technologicalpossibilities and their advantages to training centres and industrialSMEs.”•“To propose new methods, services and contents adapted to newworking environments.”

Project PhasesThe main project phases aimed to:1 Identify local training problems related to the use of ICT in industrial SMEs.2 Study ICT based training setups in relation to the needs of SMEs (using a common methodology) and to disseminate the conclusions reached from the examples studied and the research related to them.3 Identify and disseminate strategic recommendations (good practices) for the application of ICT based training in European industrial companies.4 Produce a guide for the application of innovative ICT based training in the industrial sector for training centres and their actors.5 Evaluate the training models studied, the methods, the good practices and recommendations among the different groups identified.
