and make sand houses and small rivers with
water.

Def: a mixture of sounds that is harsh.
The sound of millions of kids talking at once
is a cacophonous.

4. Pilgrimage
Def: A journey with some one respected.
A life of a student is a pilgrimage to
adulthood.

5. Prow
Def: the projected front of a ship.
The prow of the ship was a magnificent lion.

6. Symmetry
Def: similar parts facing each other
THe spy glass had beautiful symmetries
because the glass showed the other side.

Def:
Lets go to the court and ask the judges to
judge this situation.

9. Awash
Def: Covered with water (flood)
The great flood in the bible was an awash
because it covered the land with rain and
sea.

10. Sublime
Def: Things that causes great admiration.
Mozart’s piece was a sublime making people
cry because of it’s beautifulness.

11. Contemplating
• Def. : It means to look thoughtfully for a
long time.
• Sentence: The boy was contemplating the
rock as if it was gold.

12. Temerity
Def: Excessive confidence
She had temerity when others hesitated.

13. Panoply
Def: A complete or impressive collection.
A collection of marbles can look like a waste
of space to one but can be a panoply to
another.

14. Contradict
Def: To deny the truth that they once said.
The jailer did not contradict that he stole
the jewelry that the others claims he has.

15. Commune
Def: A group of people living together
sharing possessions and responsibilities.
The pilgrims were a commune because they
had feasts together and worked together to
survive.
