  • Sotto alla mappa con le posizioni correnti di tutti i PDA registrati, si posiziona una griglia che elenca nome PDA, posizione (cooridnate GPS), e dataora di rilevazione delle stesse. Sarebbe bello usare la API di googlemaps per la geo-Decodifica per ricavare l’indirizzo e visualizzarlo a fianco del nome del PDA. Prevederei un set di info addizionali che possano essere aggiunte nel msg XML inviato dal client (magari raccolta di un dato dall’applicazione con il numero di ordini, o l’indicazione della copertura di segnale gprs in quel momento in quel luogo) Quando l’utente si posiziona sopra l’icona del PDA sulla mappa, un baloon (customizzabile con le api di googlemaps) visualizza nome PDA, data e ora ed eventuali dati aggiuntivi (in caso di customizzazioni di onGeo, magari utilizzato con onMobi) Selezionato un PDA elencato nella griglia, deve essere possibile passare alla pagina di dettaglio delle ultime n posizioni assunte da quel PDA
  • Sotto alla mappa con le ultime n posizioni (con n configurabile, magari anche da GUI, o da Qflow, o altro) di un singolo PDA nel tempo, si posiziona una griglia che elenca nome PDA, posizione (coordinate GPS o indirizzo decodificato, se possibile), e dataora di rilevazione delle stesse. Con customizzazioni, a richiesta, la possibilità di avere altre colonne con altri dati inviati da ogni singolo Pda e localizzati nel tempo. Un pulsante per tornare alla visualizzazione precedente della posizione più recente per tutti i PDA.

    • What is .onGeo ?
      • It’s a smart tool for geo-localization of PDAs running onGeo mobile client; onGeo allows to geo-locate information supplied by Aton or other thirdy part mobile application running on the PDA
      • .onGeo gathers and stores centrally inside a server the geographical position sent by each PDA on the field
      • onGeo shows, on a web page, PDA positions * ; furthermore, it’ s possible to see the last “x” positions of a given PDA (i.e. the path)

  • .onGeo - Architecture Field Server GSM/GPRS/UMTS SERVER WIFI CLIENT On each PDA (Windows Mobile), onGeo client is running, and sends GPS coordinates, date-time, device ID, plus any possible further custom infomation on demand )
    • Informations sent by all PDAs are collected, organized and stored inside the onGeo server.
    • Through a web page is possible to see:
    • - All PDAs’ latests position collected,
    • latest n positions of a given PDA;
    • futhermore it is possible to see the position on the map thanks to GoogleMaps API integration

  • SERVER onGeo Server is based on Aton Mobility Platform: it collects data (PDA ID, GPS coordinates, datetime the position was recorded) coming from PDAs (running onGeo mobile client) in the form of messages (XML); onGeo stores data inside a database (e.g. MySQL, or other specific DB on customer’s needs); onGeo gives web access (it’s its self a web server) to users to see latest collected position of each PDA, or the latest “n” positions .onGeo – techincal informations of a given PDA.according to user choice. Map positioning is done thanks to googlemaps API; therefore, a web connection is required for onGeo server to work properly. No reserved data are sent and the access is made by means a dedicated key supplied by google
  • CLIENT onGeo client (.NET technology) is a client application running on PDA ( Windows Mobile) which collects data supplied by a GPS receiver of the PDA and send GPS coordinates to onGeo Server via gprs/umts. Data (position, date time of recording, custom data collected from the PDA)are sent as XML messages over HTTP(s) protocol. .onGeo - architecture Tech Specifications Platform : Windows Mobile Footprint : 2-3 MB on disk Avg Memory Allocation : 8-10 MB Avg Daily Data Passed : 10 - 50KB Transport : http Connectivity : gprs/umts
