  3. 3. After the battle William may have won the Battle of Hastings but that did not mean he became king by automatic right. William needed to make sure his victory over Harold was not wasted by defeat elsewhere. In this presentation you are going to examine what William was still to face. But first, lets see if you can remember who William is…
