Divisibility by 2 <ul><li>A number is divisible by 2 </li></ul><ul><li>if the number </li></ul><ul><li>is even. </li></ul><ul><li>18 ÷ 2 = 9 </li></ul><ul><li>22 ÷ 2 = 11 </li></ul><ul><li>(Notice that both of these numbers are even.) </li></ul><ul><li>21 ÷ 2 = 10 R1 </li></ul><ul><li>(Not an even number.) </li></ul>
