Photograph is chosen as ameans to deliver a message to overcome the language barrier and to be instantly understood by everyone. localscenery and everyday objects around the sender cropped behind the flag contains the moment of rememberingJapan as they are offering a moment of silence.

The photo messages are collected via website and displayed on a world map.When the recipient opens the photo, the locations of the recipient and thephoto (sender) are connected with a line to depict that the message has beenreceived by someone in Japan or another sender. In this installation theconnection lines are translated into three dimensional form. Red strings whichpoint toward the direction of Japan show that the photo message has beenreceived by someone there.

New identity for Denmarks Medie-og Journalisthøjskole Time December 2007 - June 2008 The aim of the project is to create an identity for the new alliance of three danish schools in the design/ Client Danmarks Medie-og Journalisthøjskole media/journalism field. The idea is to use Xs as a flexible graphic element which represents text, image, Scope Identity design, Concept developing for application, crosspoint, or possibility. The result is a contemporary and creative identity which works across both print interior and web and interactive media making full use of its flexibility.   24. 24. Kontrapunkt Christmas card Time December 2008 Was chosen to design the Christmas card of Kontrapunkt, which is also a means to appeal the design Client Kontrapunkt brand of the company. Most people has a happy memory about making footprints on snow. On this card, Scope Corporate christmas card you can find different footprints - of a man, a woman, a kid, a dog, a bird, and of someone without shoes - Role Art direction, Implementation, Print control reminds you of a memory of the cold snowy day.Done at Kontrapunkt The result was simple and quiet yet with a rich narrative, implemented with a profound knowledge of material and print technique. After the post, the company has received countless calls from clients praising the design and asking how it had been done.
  25. 25. Meeting room for DGI-BYEN Time October 2008 Worked as an art director and designer on a meeting room design project in a venue for culture and Client DGI-BYEN sports. Tight restrictions to preserve the facility and a tight budget frame were used to an advantage by Scope Interior concept, Implementation visualizing the function of the room in eye-catching typography. A number of words set in the typeface Role Art direction and Design ‘KONTRAPUNKT’ visualizes the function and objective of the room. The inventory enters into a dialogueDone at Kontrapunkt with the user of the room while at the same time the meeting room and meeting situation are united into one expression. With a twist of humour the typeface visually mirrors the room itself – while in the actual meeting situation the users are given a thought-provoking experience of the physical setting.

Brand identity for Tasaki (A long established, well-known Japanese pearl and jewellery brand) Time January 2009 - October 2009 Won an international competition to develop a new logotype for Tasaki, and worked on the total Client Tasaki re-branding project as one of the lead designers. Project included developing a logotype based on Scope Logotype, Brand identity, Application design, professional typographic knowledge, design of business cards, branded shopping bags, jewellery cases, Product design, Package design gift boxes, brand guide etc, responsible for almost all “touch points” of Tasaki. Role Lead designer, Liaison with client Within the multinational team of Danish, Finnish and Japanese designers, played a central role in com-Done at Kontrapunkt munications with Japan, and also was the key person providing insight on how the design would work in the Japanese context, leading the project to success.

  28. 28. Nivea Gift Pack 2009 Time October 2008 - January 2009 The task was to design a gift package mainly for Christmas sales, but also for throughout the year. At the Client Beiersdorf pitch phase, proposed idea is to have a removable sleeve so people can remove the corporate information Scope Package design, New package concept from their gift, making it more personal. Nivea pattern is developed to evoke luxury in the subtle detail. At Role Lead designer the implementation phase, an open window was introduced to meet the market needs. It has succeededDone at Kontrapunkt in presenting a friendly and pure “Nivea-ness”, but still making it special.

  31. 31. Ramlösa Label design Time June 2008 Ramlösa is a well known and trusted water brand with a long history. With the recent trend to healthy Client Carlsberg Danmark A/S diet, Ramlösa had introduced more flavours, making it necessary to re-set the brand presence for the Scope Label design Danish market. A new label was designed to elevate the brand even higher while keeping its genuine Role Lead designer recognition. The simple and pure design has been a great success, keeping a strong presence on the shelfDone at Kontrapunkt with a touch of elegance.

Takeo Paper Show 2004 HAPTIC   Awakening the Senses exhibition Time June 2003 - April 2004 HAPTIC was an exhibition planned and produced by Kenya Hara which focused on the creative awakening Client Takeo Paper Company of human sensory perception. I worked as a member of the team, responsible for production of exhibit Scope Exhibition design entries by Naoto Fukasawa (product designer), Kengo Kuma (architect) and many others with close Role Concept development, Coordination with creators, correspondance with the creators. Design development together with creators, Project The challenge was to find the means to realize highly original creator’s concept ideas in physical form, and management, Production of exhibit entry, was successfully implemented. The exhibition was a huge success, which established the concept “haptic” Exhibit administration, Shop layout which has since become a long lasting trend in the design world.Done at Hara Design Insitute
  33. 33. Juice Skin by Naoto Fukasawa / BananaI was responsible for a coordination with MrFukasawa and the actual production of thepiece. My role was to understand the aim of thecreator and to find a possible means to realizethis highly original idea.For banana and strawberry, I found a fake foodmodel production company who can make superdetailed surfaces. Kiwi is made by a paper whichfibers are applied with a flocking technique. Ifolded them into shape and glued straws on.

Over 250 Tadpole figures were allhandmaded by Mr. Sobue and I.
