  2. 2. OUR AIM To inspire students to apply their skills for the welfare of the marginalized section of the society and to create appropriate social changes.

When We Started SEVAARTH is the initiation of a group of students, born during the summer internship in Delhi in 2009. 12 th September, 2009, SEVAARTH was inaugurated by Prof. D.P.Singh, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of BHU. There was a huge gap between India and Bharat, so it is a initiation to bridge that gap through the student’s skills and professional’s expertise.

Our Focus Area <ul><li>Social Sensitization & Advocacy </li></ul><ul><li>Assisting Social Enterprises to help them serve better </li></ul><ul><li>Creating awareness regarding social & environmental issues </li></ul><ul><li>Arranging medical check up camps, blood donation camps, blanket distribution camps & eye donation awareness camps. </li></ul><ul><li>Annual Rural Development Fair (NAYA SAVERA-Gramoday ke aur). </li></ul><ul><li>Facilitating to form SHGs. </li></ul><ul><li>Creating awareness for in-campus cleanliness </li></ul><ul><li>Organizing Ganga-Ghats cleanliness campaign in Varanasi </li></ul>

Our Achievements <ul><li>Center for Social Enterprises Development is going to open in BHU campus. </li></ul><ul><li>GOONJ collection Center are going to open in BHU. </li></ul><ul><li>Education Center for the mess workers . </li></ul><ul><li>Some SHGs and Women Empowerment Center has been formed in Sarai Mohana Village. </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborations with many Social Enterprises. </li></ul><ul><li>Rural Development Fair is going to be organize in the rural area with the name of Naya Savera ( Gramodya Ke Aur). </li></ul>
