  4. 4. + Protecting Children from Cyberbullying  Resources provided:  Documentary “Student Voices”  Frontline “Growing Up Online”
  5. 5. + Protecting Children from Themselves  Refers to kids placing images of themselves online that may include nudity, alcohol or otherwise inappropriate behavior  Images may affect college admissions and future employment  While kids may delete images, they may still be accessed (Wayback Machine)
  6. 6. + Guidelines for Classroom Use  Utilize privacy settings  Honor parental permission forms for student photography and use of images online  Do not include any identifying information when placing student images online  Images of students should be password protected if possible  Monitor student use of Internet  Engage students in discussion regarding why these guidelines are in place
