  • 1. Finally, a place to test SCORM content without a hassle Finding a place to test your SCORM and AICC content is difficult. If you don’t have an LMS (and many of you don’t), you need somewhere easy to make this stuff go. ADL offers a sample run-time environment and the SCORM test suites, but neither of these is easy to set up or very helpful with debug information. They also aren’t production implementations, whereas TestTrack is. And frankly, no one wants to bother setting up a testing environment. TestTrack is entirely web-based and entirely free. It’s already set up, and all you have to do is fill out a single registration page. “Can I test content here as much as I’d like?” Yep, our online version of TestTrack is free 24/7. There are some space and support limitations, but we’re happy to have you testing your content because we benefit too. TestTrack has complete support for SCORM 1.1, 1.2, and SCORM 2004 (2nd and 3rd Editions). AICC has some support as well. Anybody who develops SCORM 2004 sequencing rules appreciates the need for multiple rounds of testing. It’s pretty hard to develop anything without taking a look under the hood from time to time.
