  • Misplaced Modifiers: Amisplaced modifier appears tomodify the wrong word in asentence. They often distort themeaning of the sentence or make itimpossible for the reader tounderstand the meaning. Tocorrect misplaced modifiers, moveit closer to the word it modifies.
