  • 2. What we will show you...In this demo session we will show you how torun a application on TACCs Ranger & retrievethe results using XBaya.
  • 3. User Roles Involved in the DemoGateway Developer ○ Familiar with the host computers & the relevant application installed in those hosts. ○ Has knowledge on how to setup the environment for the experiment & construct ExperimentsGateway User ○ Interested in running experiments, gathering the results & analysing the gathered results
  • 4. Prerequisites for Gateway Dev. ● The relevant application is installed and verified on Ranger via the command line. ● The system is configured to submit jobs through Globus GRAM using valid community credentials. ● We are aware of the system environment in Ranger (application location, access right, etc.)

  • 7. Gateway Developers ● Configuring the Airavata ○ Introduce the ls application in Ranger to the Airavata System using XBaya ● Constructing workflows ○ Using XBaya create a workflow which executes the ls application
