  2. 2. Possessive Pronouns► You use Possessive Pronouns to say mine and yours.► Example:► Your house is red. Mine is yellow.► En español:  Tu casa es roja. La mía es amarilla.  La mía (mine which corresponds to house because we are talking about houses) is the possessive pronoun. The Possessive pronoun is bold.
  3. 3. Possessive Pronouns► Let’s look at another example:► My tacos are deliscious. Yours are not delicious. Yours are terrible.► En español:  Mis tacos son deliciosos. Los tuyos no son deliciosos. Son terribles.  Yours (the tacos) are not deliscious. The Possessive pronoun is bold.
  4. 4. Possessive Pronouns► Let’s look at these examples again:► En español:  Mis tacos son deliciosos. Los tuyos no son deliciosos. Son terribles.  Tu casa es roja. La mía es amarilla.  You can only use a possessive pronouns when you already have an object to compare or talk about. In these cases it is Mis tacos and tu casa.

Possessive Pronouns► The following are possessive pronouns.► El mío, la mía, los míos, las mías = mine► El tuyo, la tuya, los tuyos, las tuyas = your► El suyo, la suya, los suyos, las suyas = her, his or it’s► El nuestro, la nuestra, los nuestros, las nuestras = our► El vuestro, la vuestra, los vuestros, las vuestras = y’all► El suyo, la suya, los suyos, las suyas = their

Possessive Pronouns► El mío, la mía, los míos, las ► The Possessive Pronouns mías = mine must agree with the► El tuyo, la tuya, los tuyos, las gender and number of the tuyas = your thing they correspond to.► El suyo, la suya, los suyos, las suyas = her, his or it’s ► Example:► El nuestro, la nuestra, los  Tu casa es roja. La mía es nuestros, las nuestras = our amarilla.► El vuestro, la vuestra, los ► House is la casa. La casa vuestros, las vuestras = y’all is feminine/female, thus► El suyo, la suya, los suyos, you use la mía. las suyas = their
