    • Ir + a + infinitive= Going to..… • In your sentences you need an “a” • between voy/va and the place you are going to. Always use “a” after ir when going to a place. The “a” = to in English. Example: • Yo voy a la biblioteca.
    • Ir + a + infinitive= Going to..… Yo voy a cantar = I am going to sing • Tú vas a cantar = you are going to sing • El/ella/usted va a cantar = he/she is going to sing • nosotros vamos a cantar = we are going to sing = • vosotros váis a cantar yall are going to sing • ellos/ellas/ustedes van a cantar = they are going to sing • • • • • • • • • • • Necesitar = to need Cantar = to sing Hablar = to speak Tocar la guitarra = to play the guitar Sacar la foto = to take a photo Tomar el sol = to sun bathe Beber = to drink Leer = to read Correr = to run Escribir = to write Vivir = to live
