A 21-year-old triathlete who has been racing since
he was eight, Olly Freeman began his professional
career in 2005. He has won national and international
titles as both Junior and Senior Triathlete and he was

BIO:
24-year-old Haruka Hirota,
from Osaka, Japan, began her competitive
trampoline career when she was 12. Only five
years later, at age 17, she received her first gold medal
at the All Japan Games. In 2004, Haruka represented her country at
the Athens Olympics, finishing in 7th place. This time around, she is
focused on winning a medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

BIO:
Flatwater canoeing athlete, Attila Vajda, from Hungary, became junior champion
in 2000, winning the Canadian canoe C-2 1000m title in Boulogne-sur-Mer,
France. His coach selected him as the “secret weapon” for the 2004
Olympics in Athens C-1 1000m. In 2005, he became very well-known
as the “golden boy” of Hungarian canoeing. Attila is a medal favorite
going into the games in Beijing.

Established in 1959 and based in Beijing, the Chinese Cycling
Association (CCA) is the national governing body of cycle racing

25-year-old Ragna Ingólfsdóttir is the top female
badminton player in her native Iceland. Ragna,
who has been playing badminton since age 9,
is a six-year Icelandic singles champion, a six-time
Icelandic doubles champion and a mixed doubles
champion. She was voted 2007 Athlete of the
Year in Reykjavik, Iceland.
