Scuba Diving @ Sint Maarten 2009

This is me ...

… and this is Sint Maarten …

The 87 km2 island is divided roughly in
half between France (53 km2) and the
Netherlands Antilles (34 km2)

Border between the Dutch and French part

The short length of the main runway at
Princess Juliana International Airport,
and its position between a large hill
and a beach causes some spectacular
approaches …

The main reason I am visiting the
island reguarly ...

… is that my (not so) little brother lives
at the island.

So now to the scuba diving part ...

the water ...

... St. Maarten offers an amazing
under water experience !

I also had my first encounter with a
shark ...

She was not big, but still it was an
awesome experience.
