  • 2. General facts about Malmö• Population – 310 000 inhabitants• Located in the south of Sweden, in Scania• Sweden’s third biggest city
  • 3. Turning Torso• Scandinavia’s highest skyscraper• It is 190 meters high and it has 54 floors
  • 4. • Unfortunately there has been much violence and shootings in some areas of Malmö• Earlier this year there was a documentary on TV called “Malmöpolisen” that was supposed to show the everyday work of the police in the worst areas of Malmö.• There has been many discussions about if “Malmöpolisen” is giving a fair picture of Malmö.
  • 5. Hyllie boulevard• The world’s biggest IKEA building• Emporia• Malmö arena (where the Eurovision song contest is going to take place)
  • 6. Emporia Scandinavia’s biggest mall• More than 25 000 visitors every day• 93 000 square meters• There are hundreds of shops, with exclusive brands.• We love it, because we are shopaholics!!! <3

  • 8. Eurovision song contest• The Eurovision is going to take place at Malmö arena in May.• That is because Loreen won last year with Euphoria in Baku.
  • 9. Malmö FF• Malmö’s biggest football club• Zlatan Ibrahimovic played in Malmö FF 1994- 1999
  • 10. Zlatan Ibrahimovic• Zlatan grew up in Rosengård, a suburb of Malmö.• Zlatan’s first football club was FC Rosengård.
  • 11. Malmö festival• Every year we have a festival in Malmö• There are lots of different music concerts, it is like a big party and everything is for free!
