Evaluation Starting Points<br />The syllabus provides you with set questions that you will need to answer in terms of evaluating your practical work.<br />You are not permitted to simply write your evaluation. Instead it will need to use digital technology.<br />There is no word limit<br />
The Set Questions<br /><ul><li>In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
How does your media product represent particular social groups?
What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
Who would be the audience for your media product?
What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product? </li></li></ul><li>Form<br />The presentation of the evaluation may take the form of one or combination of:<br /><ul><li>A presentation using slideshow software such as PowerPoint. USE SCREENSHOTS
Write up in your blog</li></ul>The Pages of your magazine need to be in PDF format and JPEG’s and inserted into your evaluation<br />
Word Limit<br />No word limits will be provided. You are strongly encouraged to use your ICT skills and use photos and video to aid your evaluation. This will obviously reduce the traditional notion of a ‘word count’<br />
Due Date<br />Your evaluation (and your research & planning), in whatever form, must be completed by Friday April 8th at 3pm.<br />You will have one week of class time to work on your evaluation in terms of doing something ‘creative’ and technological with some of the questions and then one additional week to improve any aspects of your blog.<br />
