    1. 1. Final Project TMD 427Heather Sluyk
    2. 2. Project 1 :C.A.D. Sketches
    3. 3. For this presentation I chose to use a project I completed for a C.A.D. class this past fallsemester. The project entailed designing a fashion line using Photoshop and Illustrator. Iused a mixture of Colleen Atwood’s 2010 Alice in Wonderland costumes and nature as myinspiration to show my different skills with these two programs. There was a girl who loved fashion. Ever since she was a little girl she would dreamedabout opening her own store. One day that dream came true and she got her boutique inNew York. She went on to name that store Once Upon a Time, since it was once just herdream. As the years went on the collection grew from not only casual clothing but toformal and nightwear as well. The store is more of a higher end fashion boutique makingthe prices a little above normal. Although, the quality and detail of the clothing showexactly that and prove worthy. The fabrics are composed of such material as silk, leather, lace, corduroy and much more. There is a wide rage of styles mostly geared for youngadults. The collection is inspired by the Alice In Wonderland movie through the lace andlayers. Also, through its vibrant colors and abstract shapes. This particular collection iffun, hip, sexy and feminine all in one. It has that particular look of appeal yet conformity.

    6. 6. My pieces were designed for a young woman between the ages of 20 and 26 ..

    9. 9. Project 2:Apparel Design
    10. 10. your one stop shop I chose to use sketches I created while in an apparel design class. It demonstrates my creative process and development as well as the illustrative techniques I have learned. For these sketches I chose to create garments suitable for young adults. There tends to be very little time for a business woman to take care of herself let alone take the time to shop. My vision was to create a one stop shop where woman can shop for both their work clothing as well as their regular attire.
