Noble men were assigned to own part of the land and would control it like a king. These people were royal to the family. King Wu was a very important emperor in the Zhou Dynasty.
There were a lot of important events in the Zhou Dynasty these are some of them : Warring states 457-221, Spring and Autumn period first 300 years, and by 256 the Zhou emperors lost power.
The Zhou Dynasty was the longest dynasty, the Chinese civilization expanded, they made the bronze bell, and the iron age brought iron-tipped oxdrawn plows and improved irrigation.
Warring states period
In the Zhou dynasty the warring states period happened and 200 states participated in it. In the end 7 big nations were left in this big battle for China, the Zhou family won.
During the Zhou period people learned how to use and make iron also weopons, pots and other tools. People harvested rice and ate it daily during the whole Ancient china period.
Map Eastern Zhou was really Big. It was in the eastern part of China near the Yellow sea.
