    12. Four Physics Sequences
      • All four satisfy professional school prerequisites. If your degree requires physics, check with your academic advisor before choosing a physics sequence.
      • PHY 302K + PHY 102M; PHY 302L + PHY 102N
      • PHY 317K + PHY 117M; PHY 317L + PHY 117N
      • PHY 303K + PHY 103M; PHY 303L + PHY 103N
      • PHY 301 + PHY 101L; PHY 316 + PHY 116L
      • The PHY 317 sequence was designed for premedical students and is intended to cover all the topics that are fair game on the MCAT.
      • To take PHY 317K you must have credit for M 408C OR have credit for M408K and credit or registration for M 408L.
      • The PHY 302 sequence is the only one that doesn’t require calculus. You will still need either M 408C or M 408K as a co-requisite for chemistry.

      • Students should work with advisor at former school to determine that courses they took there will satisfy professional school requirements
      • Do not split biology and chemistry sequences between schools
      • Dual credit earned from a college or university while in high school is transfer credit and can be used to satisfy prerequisites.
